 David Goode, GHSC Validated Practitioner. As well as being a qualified hypnotherapist I also use additional techniques like EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), SymbioDynamics ™ and Coaching.Background...I always remember being interested in hypnotism while I was at school and experiments on friends created great laughs for our twisted, adolescent humour. I was considered quite successful for a teenager, that was until I started dating and thinking about exams. My interest in hypnotism was somewhat overtaken. Having spent a long time in the motor industry, the last 15 years of which were spent working for a blue chip company, I noticed that my management role was changing. I was becoming far more involved in training which highlighted the need for motivational encouragement and empowerment for myself and the people I was working with. Following my intuition I decided to learn about Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which took me back to my experimental days with hypnosis. I was hooked again! My local college was running a course in hypnosis so I signed up. The course was great fun but it was only a basic course so when they offered an advanced course I duly enrolled and embarked upon helping others. My success encouraged me to make the leap from the security of being employed by a large company to setting up my own hypnotherapy practice. My understanding of big corporate business helps me to develop a suitable proramme of hypnotherapy that is seen as acceptable to business management and their staff.
